Lets get pumped

The pump celebrated its 20th Birthday in serious style at the Reebok Lounge. There were parties in every major city to help celebrate the bench mark shoe. The alcohol was flowing, the celebs were out in force and the A/C was knackered. Making this one HOT partaaaay!

Secret Wars win the Lloyds A&B Innovation award at the Arts & Business Ceremony

It's been ruuning for 3 years and last night Secret Wars got the recognition it deserved, which is set to propel the brand globally.

Similar to 'Slumdog Millionaire' many didn't expect Edding and Secret Wars to walk away with the prize because of the other nominees. Money wise, there was a huge difference. These were multi-million if not billion pound organizations, which included BP, Shell, The British Museum...

Shortlisted for 3, Secret Wars got the last one and huge praise from all those that attended.

Congratulations Edding and Monorex....BOYAAAA!

My mates mum is on my tee!!

A true story - I'd bought a Supreme tee with the print below on it. Didn't know much about it, just thought it looked cool. It wasn't until I started wearing it at work, my friend and colleague thought the lady pictured in it looked familiar.

Later on that day her boyfriend came to visit and she asked him to look at the tee. He focused in and within seconds started turning a light shade of red - "That's my mum!"

I was amazed and shocked. How did my mates mum get on my tee? Will the image was taken from a huge portfolio of work by 60s pin-up icon Margaret Nolan who's best known for being the golden painted lady in the James Bond movie 'GoldFinger'

Today, she's known for something completely different, an artist, specializing in photomontages. Her preview show begins on Wednesday 11th November.

Be sure to stop by

Rolling with the Punches

A good friend and even better artist Josh Sutterby will be displaying a new collection of work on December 3rd at The Print House Gallery.

The show titled 'Rolling with the Punches' explores emotions derived from darkness and violence with Josh's trademark tattoo style. A great way to begin the festive season. I urge all those out there to try and make the opening. If you're not around, the show will be running until 10th January 2010 giving you all a bit of time to pass by and show your support.

Secret Wars x Offset

Another return trip to Dublin proved to be better then the last. I love this place and I think it loves me back. I hope it does, I don't think I could handle not getting the same love and emotion back.

Anyway, Secret wars hosted a special battle between the Irish artists, led by Dan leo and some of the guest speakers from Offset, which included artists from Debut Arts as well as The London Police.

Reeps 1 smashed at the Bernard Shaw and followed it up at the Twisted Pepper as a warm up for DJ Sinden.

Another succesful trip, a Big Thanks and Shout Out to Andy for looking after us and being a great host - see you soon Dublin!
